It seems to me to be telling that the UK and Australia are at the forefront of implementing controls on the internet, under the guise of 'online safety'.
Is it a coincidence that these countries were at the forefront of the manufactured COVID-19 crisis, a scandal that up to now we've been able to discuss on Substack?
In Australia there aren't serious public forums provided by government where people can discuss important matters of policy, we're reliant on platforms such as Substack. And before 'Covid' it was very difficult indeed to publicly question vaccination policy.
As someone who has spent years seeking transparency and accountability for taxpayer-funded vaccination policy, and more recently for vaccine mandates, I can attest governments are not working for the people. The last six years have shown governments in supposed 'free countries' run roughshod over freedom on the basis of a 'killer virus' that didn't kill most people.
Are these authoritarian governments now seeking to impede access to forums where people have been able to speak and share commentary without censorship, i.e. Substack?
It seems to me we are facing the thin end of the wedge...which is widening...
The cynic in me also wonders if using the U.K and Australia as testing grounds allows the U.S to remain at arms length distance and continue to promote the illusion of itself as a free country with free speech, even though everyone knows that any globalist-controlled country (& that's pretty much ALL of them) want to eventually reengineer the internet as a "Zero Trust" environment.
I'm observing this week that bow the US military is busy with business we are getting a bit less manipulation with the sky. Interesting to see if that continues.
I now do not appear to be able to use the Substack chat function without verifying my age. I will not continue to use this medium after my current subscriptions expire, sorry creators.
Moreover, Persona (the third party check) is ultimately owned by (Mr) PT. I traced back the ownership, which is public record. I resent being corralled into the OSA excuse even for subscriptions which have nothing whatsoever to do with politics. It seems arbitrary, in some cases.
I was challenged despite not being in the UK, I think I was trying to access Chat from a dissident account. So it would be useful to know how Substack imposes restructions - as mentioned my feeling is that the Online Safety Act is just a fig leaf excuse.
I’m in the UK. I have not been asked to verify my age on Substack, perhaps because I have several paid subscriptions using credit card. I have a VPN (Proton) but usually set to the UK, for simplicity in accessing bank accounts. This gives the impression that Substack people are floundering and need to get their act together.
Good on you for the initiative Alex but with the greatest respect (and I mean that in the most genuine way possible), I don't think you quite understand what Substack ACTUALLY is and what its TRUE purpose is....and ALWAYS was!
Substack has been a rare space where dissenting voices, independent researchers, and whistleblowers have been able to speak openly, and share and debate ideas.
As someone who has been challenging vaccination policy for the past 17 years, a very difficult arena, the opportunity to speak freely on Substack has been a revelation.
And now Michael Ginsburg, you say you want Substack to DIE, and it is your intention to ensure this happens in 2026. That does not sound like a defence of free speech - it's your plan to destroy a forum where up to now dissent has been freely aired.
Instead of defending the space, you are encouraging people to walk away from it, while positioning yourself to profit from the breakdown, e.g. promoting Actionable Truth merchandise.
Are you familiar with the concept of a honeypot and specifically what is its purpose and how it is executed? If not, I am more than happy to explain.
With regards to:
"Instead of defending the space, you are encouraging people to walk away from it, while positioning yourself to profit from the breakdown, e.g. promoting Actionable Truth merchandise.
You have a conflict of interest."
I am not sure how I am "positioning myself to profit from the breakdown"? Can you explain please because the fact I am selling my own merchandise (something I started to do only after being promoted to it by my own audience) doesn't create a "conflict of interest" at all in my mind.
If instead I was an owner, developer or even employee of a platform that is similar to substack or can be positioned as a competitor to it (e.g. beehiiv or kit) then this claim could have some merit but that is not the case.
As far as the first part of your quote above, I respectfully refer you to my initial question about a honeypot.
Michael, if you look at my Substack sitemap, you'll see I've been publishing articles here since 2022, around 150 articles.
For me, Substack has been in an incredible experience, to be able to publish freely, and engage with others, including via paid subscriptions, even able to directly engage with people influential on vaccination policy.
Whatever happens now, these years of discussion and exposure have been invaluable to me.
I don't know how long you've been working on challenging the system, but I've been doing it for more than 17 years, and it has been a very hard row to hoe.
I'm appalled at your cavalier attitude in seeking to destroy Substack, and thereby strive to destroy the work of others who have benefited from the platform.
I'm pushing back and challenging Substack leadership directly, saboteurs are no use to me.
@Elizabeth Hart we loved your work here and it was fabulous that we connected. Hopefully we can maintain that collegiality. Now that Substack has shown its true colours are those of the globalists too, there is no going back. Like a boyfriend who has betrayed our love and trust, even if a ‘change of heart’ was agreed, we know his true values are flawed. We have to be mature about this: for our future stability, it’s time to leave. Karma will come to all those who betray free speech. Including Substack owners. And btw, @Michael Ginsburg has given his expertise and time FOR FREE to help me and others to transfer content safely away from Substack. It is very unfair for you to accuse him of profiteering from this situation, which he predicted a long time ago.
By all means keep publishing on Substack if you like (although I’d caution against that being the only place in which you publish your work) but at the very very least, please do what Robyn has done to deny Substack of revenue.
one of the owners, venture capital investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) demonstrate strong alignment with Israel through substantial investments in its tech ecosystem, but it has no publicly documented formal political affiliation or exclusive policy stance toward the country.
a16z ranks among the top foreign VCs in Israel, with 16 portfolio companies (including cybersecurity leader Wiz), 7 new investments in 2024 alone (up from 4 in 2023), and 2 exits to date.
Focus areas include AI, cyber, and defense tech, with collaborations like Anduril (a16z-backed) working with Israeli firm Elbit on U.S. border projects.
Every entity has an agenda, ideology. Watch this space.
Again Elizabeth, I mean no disrespect but I am fairly confident at this point that you don't quite understand how truly EVIL this platform is and what was its purpose all along.
Those open letters of yours are akin to writing to the Australian CHO or Fauci asking them to stop jabbing people.
I think you both could be right. There is no public evidence that Substack was deliberately set up as an intelligence “honeypot” for dissenters, but as with any large, centralized publishing platform, it can collect extensive data and comply with government requests, so the risk profile is real even if the honeypot theory is unproven.
I think every member of this community should demand clarification on last year’s announcement that Substack has “partnered” with The Free Press. Is that ongoing? What does it mean?
I will not be a part of a community “partnered” with Zionists, (especially inept ones whose relationship to good journalism is nonexistent).
I've forwarded my own open letter to Substack leadership, see: Will Substack Remain a Platform for Free Speech - or a Biometric Gate? https://elizabethhart.substack.com/p/will-substack-remain-a-platform-for

Good news creators, they appear to have fixed it, if only temporarily.
Moreover, Persona (the third party check) is ultimately owned by (Mr) PT. I traced back the ownership, which is public record. I resent being corralled into the OSA excuse even for subscriptions which have nothing whatsoever to do with politics. It seems arbitrary, in some cases.
I haven’t experienced any of the age verification issues so far Alex but I do have a VPN so I wonder if that’s the reason..
I was challenged despite not being in the UK, I think I was trying to access Chat from a dissident account. So it would be useful to know how Substack imposes restructions - as mentioned my feeling is that the Online Safety Act is just a fig leaf excuse.
Of course it is Alex
I read Substack every day. I’ve written a few pieces and posted a great many comments.
I’m ready, without a moment’s hesitation, to remove Substack from my devices, and close my accounts. There are always alternatives.
There is no grey area on censorship.

I for one do NOT want Substack to reform or backtrack. I want it to DIE and it is my intention to ensure this happens in 2026!

"Why Did Substack Align With It?"
The answer is very simple: because Substack is a "honeypot"....and ALWAYS was!

That is a highly alarming article, which is all the more reason to PUSH BACK and challenge Substack for its collaboration with harvesting our data.

Lately I am not able to like or share certain substack content.
Are they also now under Zionist influence to curb free speech?
